Circulating supply multiplied by current price.
Market cap is the total USD value of every coin currently in circulation: price × circulating supply. It's the primary metric used to rank cryptocurrencies and to compare them against each other and against traditional assets like equities.
Market cap can be misleading for low-float tokens where most of the supply hasn't unlocked yet. In those cases, fully diluted valuation (FDV) is a more honest figure.
