Crypto Wallet

Software or hardware that stores private keys and signs transactions.

Wallets don't actually store coins (those live on the blockchain) — they store the keys that prove ownership. Hot wallets (MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby) are convenient but online. Cold wallets (Ledger, Trezor) keep keys offline and only sign transactions when physically connected.
