Max Supply
The hard cap on how many coins of an asset will ever exist.
Max supply is the absolute ceiling on token issuance, hard-coded into the protocol. Bitcoin's max supply is 21 million. Some tokens (like ETH) have no max supply and rely on burning mechanics to control issuance instead.
