Seed Phrase

Human-readable backup of a wallet's private keys.

A seed phrase (also called recovery phrase or mnemonic) is 12 or 24 words from the BIP-39 wordlist. It can regenerate every private key in the wallet. Store it offline, never type it into a website, never photograph it, never share it with anyone — including support staff.
